Klaagliederen 2:21

SV	[Schin.] De jongen en de ouden liggen op de aarde [op] de straten; mijn jonkvrouwen en mijn jongelingen zijn door het zwaard gevallen; Gij hebt ze in den dag Uws toorns gedood, Gij hebt ze geslacht [en] niet verschoond.
WLC	שָׁכְב֨וּ לָאָ֤רֶץ חוּצֹות֙ נַ֣עַר וְזָקֵ֔ן בְּתוּלֹתַ֥י וּבַחוּרַ֖י נָפְל֣וּ בֶחָ֑רֶב הָרַ֙גְתָּ֙ בְּיֹ֣ום אַפֶּ֔ךָ טָבַ֖חְתָּ לֹ֥א חָמָֽלְתָּ׃ ס
Trans.	šāḵəḇû lā’āreṣ ḥûṣwōṯ n^a‘ar wəzāqēn bəṯûlōṯay ûḇ^aḥûray nāfəlû ḇeḥāreḇ hāraḡətā bəywōm ’apeḵā ṭāḇ^aḥətā lō’ ḥāmālətā:

AC	כא שכבו לארץ חוצות נער וזקן בתולתי ובחורי נפלו בחרב הרגת ביום אפך טבחת לא חמלת {ס}
ASV	The youth and the old man lie on the ground in the streets; My virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword: Thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast slaughtered, [and] not pitied.
BE	The young men and the old are stretched on the earth in the streets; my virgins and my young men have been put to the sword: you have sent death on them in the day of your wrath, causing death without pity.
Darby	The child and the old man lie on the ground in the streets; my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword: thou hast slain [them] in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, thou hast not spared.
